Hi there!
I’m Kirti and I’m a 40-something UK based mum - data analyst by day and blogger by night. So, why have I called my blog - ‘Kindred Common’, you might ask. Well, ‘Kindred’ means ‘similar in kind; or related’. You may have come across the term ‘ kindred spirit’ which would be someone who shares the same interests, thoughts and opinions as you. That leads us to ‘Common’ - a public, open space where people usually gather to chill, or sometimes host events, or just wander to have some peace and quiet. I’ve spent a lot of time at Wimbledon Common when I first moved to London, and have fond memories, so that’s how I want this space to feel.
So, Kindred Common is a blog, which I hope will one day become a great community for like-minded people who share interests, talk about relatable experiences and learn and grow together.
